Diary (Austria)

Sunday:

Leaving the school at 15. P.M, looking forward to a very nice, transcended, and fun trip to Austria. 17 hours driving in bus, and a very beautiful landscape. At the beginning of the trip with the bus, we enjoyed each other, and heard a lot of music, but the small leg space, and missing out a lot of sleep, did affect our humor, and energy-level.

It was difficult, making the last few hours to Austria with the bus. But we arrived about 7. P.M on Monday.

Monday:

Arriving at the Hartberg Gymnasium about 8. P.M, making a lot of different activities with the locals on Hartberg Gymnasium. It was very fun, and exciting making the presentation of The Danish School System, and the way Gold10 makes the school year worth it.

The Volleyball tournament was also very fun. Making friendships with the people from Hartberg, did show us, that we easily can talk together, though we come from different countries. After the activities on Hartberg, we did move on to a little hike in the good weather at Hartberg city. We really enjoyed the weather and talking with each other.

After the little hike in Hartberg City, we took the train to jugendhotel Furstenfeld. We were very tired, and just wanted to relax. It was soon dinner time, and the boys were very hungry. We got some Schnitzel with potatoes and salad. The food was okay. We were only looking forward to laying in our beds, sleeping, and getting ready for the next day.

Tuesday:

We woke up at 7:00 a clock. Slowly making our way for breakfast. The breakfast stood on eggs, bacon sausage, bread, and a lot more. Really delicious breakfast. After breakfast, the lunch was made, and then we took the bus to a stalactite cave. Really beautiful how the nature has the powers to make something like that.

After the visit in the stalactite cave, we moved on the Wagrain, Jugendhotel Oberwimm. We spend the rest of the day at Jugendhotel Oberwimm, relaxing eating dinner, and just having fun.

Wednesday:

On Wednesday, we woke up at 7 P.M, getting ready for breakfast. Bread and toppings. It was okay, but we were most likely excited for the Canyoning. The other team must go high up, climbing in the trees, when we drove a little further to the canyoning. One of the most cool, beautiful, and difficult experiences we have tried. The way mother nature had turned the canyon. Waterfalls, small lakes, and clear water. WOAAW!! The only negative was, that the water was freezing, but it was also fun, laughing together saying “OMG!! The water is freezing guys. I can’t anymore.”

After the experience in the canyon, we drove back to Jugendhotel Oberwimm. We were tired, slept 2 and half hour or so. Waking up to dinner, was nice. Burger, French fries, and more. After dinner we assembled a couple friends and was doing some Just Dance before bed.

Thursday:

We woke 7:00 a clock, again making ourselves ready for breakfast. Bread with topping stood the breakfast menu on. After breakfast we were making ourselves ready for, the Hike team, and the River Rafting team. We the drove to the Hiking place, and after that, the River Rafting place. We were split up in two teams, so both teams could try both things. The River Rafting was amazing and fun. The power in the waves was dreadful, and the water was freezing, but we did find it very fun and experiencing. We overturned in the water, but soon came back on track.

After the River Rafting, we drove back to the Hiking spot. Walking alongside of a mountain was difficult. It was hard, but the view from the mountain was amazing. We had a lot of fun today.
